Spring has come in Japan! Around this season, entrance or enrollment ceremonies are held elsewhere because the new fiscal year starts. Cherry blossom petals have fallen down on the grounds and the rivers, and cover them so beautifully.
While the the school year starts in September in many countries, it does in April in Japan. From the end of March to the beginning of April, we often see Japanese parents or families take a ceremonial picture of their child(ren) under the cherry blossom tree. Enjoy the sunshine and floral fragrance in the most beautiful season in this country.
