Hina-matsuri is also called Momo-no-Sekku and it’s the day to pray for healthy growth and happiness for young girls.
We display hina-dolls and peach blossoms and offer rice cake cubes and diamond-shaped rice cakes and enjoy drinking Shirozake (rice wine) and eating Chirashi Sushi.
The Boy’s Festival is called Tango-no-Sekku and celebrated on May 5th.
