To promote international exchange at a grassroots level, the association organizes a network of private exchange groups and the training of volunteers. All who are interested are invited to register.

Registration of Private Exchange Groups
Group registration includes the following categories:
- International Cooperation and Assistance Committee
- International Exchange Committee
- Culture, Music or Sports Committee
- Japanese Traditional Cultural Committee
- Committee dedicated to the understanding/study of or service for other cultures
Individual Registration
Individual registration includes the following categories:
- Volunteer Hosts for Guest Stays
- Volunteer Hosts for Guest Visits
- Volunteer Interpreters and Translators
- Volunteer Japanese Language Teachers
- General Volunteers
