Information Lobby

The information lobby provides a wide variety of timely information in multiple languages. In other sections, visitors can enjoy exhibitions of photos, paintings and other works of art from cultures around the world, international exchanges, and an interactive section that parents can enjoy with their children.

Visitors can use this space as a place to relax. Pamphlets and information on international exchanges are also available.

Gallery

The gallery exhibits reference materials on exchanges with Kawasaki’s sister cities, friendship cities and friendship ports. The signed treaties and commemorative items from overseas are also on display.

Picture rails and exhibit panels are used for a variety of exhibitions, including paintings and photographs.

The hall has 264 seats, which can be automatically switched from a stadium-style seating arrangement to a standard flat arrangement. The hall is suitable for international exchange events, mini-concerts, symposiums and other events. For an additional fee, you can rent instruments and equipment such as pianos and projectors.

International conferences, symposiums, lectures, mini-concerts, etc.
Capacity:
Flexible seating arrangements: 264 people (11 rows of 24 seats)
Standing-room parties: 400 people
Other:
The hall does not have green rooms; please reserve conference rooms if that kind of space is needed.

The reception room seats up to 150 people, and is suitable for a wide range of events, including parties, lectures, seminars and exhibitions.

Parties, lectures, conferences, general meetings, exhibitions, etc.
Capacity:
Party layout (seated): 150 people; Standing room: 300 people
Conference layout (seated): 120 people
Lecture layout (seated): 150 people (when only chairs are used)
Conference Rooms

The center has seven conference rooms, including those in the annex, with capacities ranging from 10 to 36 people. These rooms can be used for conferences, language classes, meetings and more. Conference rooms 2 and 3 (total capacity: 48 people) and conference rooms 4 and 5 (total capacity: 60 people) can be used as single rooms.

Conferences, workshops, gatherings, etc.

Private Exchange Organization Activity Room

This space is offered for the activities of private exchange organizations registered with the Kawasaki International Association, as well as exchanges between organizations.

Library and Reference Room

Visitors can freely browse books about international exchange, as well as newspapers and magazines in multiple languages. The library has a large collection of materials on Kawasaki City’s sister and friendship cities, newsletters from international exchange organizations throughout Japan, and more.

The Japanese-style annex—also called Kizukian—is a traditional Japanese structure that stands in the center’s Japanese garden. The tearoom is perfect for traditional Japanese cultural activities such as tea ceremonies and the wearing of kimono.
